We are a small, tight-knit group of volunteers comprised of students, young professionals, and long-time Milton Parc residents.

We often need volunteers to help us with meal and basket deliveries on foot. This is a fun, easy way to get involved in the food bank!

One-time or Organizational Volunteering
We often receive requests for organizational and one-off volunteering opportunities. Though we can sometimes offer these opportunities, the local, community-nature of our organization requires volunteers that are consistent and regular. Prospective volunteers may have good intentions, but large volumes of one-time volunteers at the same time quickly hinder the operations of small, community-based organizations.
If your organization is still interested in supporting the Milton Parc Food Bank, consider sending one or two volunteers at a time. Alternatively consider proposing an event or fundraising partnership; we are more than happy to help organize and support these kinds of one-off events, and they could make for a great organizational day of service :)
